The COTTAGE
From $320 per night
Nestled in the woods halfway up our 20 acre hillside, the environmentally-minded off-grid Cottage sits in its own secluded hideaway on the property, with only the donkeys nearby to spoil your privacy. Built and clad entirely in wood from our local mill, a warm light fills the air inside, with a cathedral ceiling and wall of windows facing the southern mountain valley. The cottage is off-grid, but a small solar array keeps amenities flowing. Enjoy a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a top-of-the-line eco-friendly incineration toilet. Prepare meals and snacks in the stocked custom kitchenette where you can keep a pot of coffee bubbling while you add logs to the crackling woodstove. Sit at the kitchen table to enjoy the view by day, or to play cards by candlelight come nightfall, and enjoy a sound slumber in a curtained bed nook. Walk past the rose hedge to visit the donkeys, or mosey up to the main house for food and drinks at any time. The Cottage embraces country living and does not have air conditioning - open windows provide fresh air and a breeze. There is not WiFi at The Cottage, but it can be accessed at the main house. Queen bed. Maximum occupancy: 2
CHECK-IN & OUT
We have a two-night minimum stay requirement. Check-in is at 3:00p. Check-out is at 10:00a.
DINNER, BREAKFAST & PANTRY
The only thing better than waking from and settling in for a solid night's slumber are the meals that happen in between. Enjoy a daily snacking menu served from 11a-4p and a sweet treat set out at 4p. We offer farm breakfast daily which includes complimentary house sourdough toast with our homemade butter and jams. Eggs, pancakes, sausage, and yogurt are extra. A nightly Kitchen Supper is offered upon request, at $75 per person for three generous portions of farm fare, beer and wine a la carte. Guests staying with us on a Friday or Saturday will have seats saved at our Dinner Party (let us know which night you prefer, or come to both!), $85 per person for four courses served up for a full house in our spirited communal dining room. We're thrilled to announce the inaugural season of Sunday Roasts, offered on Sunday afternoons for those seeking one last satiating meal before hitting the road back home, $75 per person. Wash it all down with our housemade beers, wines, and special digestif. We are a small house and require planning for our market shopping, so please reserve all meals ahead of your stay. We are happy to accommodate vegetarian requests and nut allergies if notified ahead. We look forward to feeding you!
BOOKING & CANCELLATION
Full payment will be charged at the time of booking room accommodations. Any additional costs through the restaurant, bar or otherwise will be settled at the end of your stay. Room and dining cancellations are 50% refundable, up until two weeks prior to your stay at which time refunds cannot be provided.
